Responsible for :
- Dev. or testing comp. softw. applications, sys. or services.
- Evaluate req., estimate dev. costs, design and implement the softw., review the design and implementation, improve the dev. process, perform unit testing, communicate status, analyze risks and compromises, integrate softw. into a larger sys., or diagnose and resolve issues.
- Work on spec. softw. features or sections of code under supervision.
- May be assigned to various projs. that utilize the req. tech. skills to deploy successful prod. releases, from early prod. definition and scoping to detailed specs, implementation and roll-out phases.
Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location. 8AM to 5PM, Mon-Fri; Standard co. benefits. Salary $148,700 to $168,700 /yr.
Req. a Bachelor’s or foreign degree equiv. in Comp. Sci., Engg., Math., Info. Sys., or a rel. field. Position also reqs. 1 yr of softw. dev. exp. formulating & analyzing softw. req. using a high level progm. language. Educ. or exp. in:
- Data Structures;
- Distributed Systems;
- Algorithms;
- C;
- C++;
- Unit Testing;
- and Azure.
