PhysNet is looking for a motivated, exceptional talent to join our company full-time as an Application Development Manager. Title and pay are commensurate with the candidate’s experience. You will be the “product owner” of the company’s proprietary comprehensive enterprise software application. You will manage the front- and back-end development and maintenance, as well as lead a small team of other developers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General:
· Managing the complete software development process, including translating the business needs into actionable technology workplans and leading the build from conception to development, testing, and deployment
· Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
· Troubleshooting application issues 24/7
· Using contemporary technology knowledge to provide direction for build of new features and future versions of the application
· Participating in senior management bi-weekly meetings where updates are provided on the progress of various projects
· Communicating clearly and concisely
· Identifying and surfacing technology issues and proposing solutions
· Leading and managing a small team of developers
· Producing error-free work and standing by the work product
· Working and excelling in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
· 70% of the work is hands-on architecture and coding, 20% is working with senior team to understand business needs and plan the build of new features, 10% is leading/managing other developers
Skills and Qualifications:
· Full-stack developer (front-end and back-end) proficient in managing IIS services
· Expertise in front-end technologies including Asp.Net, VB.net, .Net core, Web services, C#, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery (5-7 years’ experience)
· Expertise in database management and development in MS SQL (2019), CLR, Functions, and Views, Complex SQL queries, and processes (5-7 years’ experience)
· Strong experience in SSIS Integration Services developing and managing existing packages (3-5 years’ experience)
· Strong experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD) – TFS / GIT, building and managing pipelines, code repository, unit testing, and documentation (3-5 years’ experience)
· EDI X12 5010 working knowledge and experience (2-5 years’ experience)
· Experience with Agile development practices and Scrum methodology
· Strong oral and written communication skills
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher
Desired skills:
· Workers’ Compensation, Insurance or Healthcare industry related experience
· Azure experience
